    If you are looking for Michelin star restaurants in Mallorca, the first one on the list is Voro. Chef Álvaro Salazar was awarded a second Michelin star for his restaurant Voro in 2022, making it the only double Michelin-starred restaurant in the Balearic Islands.

    The restaurant is located next to the Cap Vermell Grand Hotel and operates independently of the accommodation. Voro’s cuisine works with absolute freedom and his dishes range from the chef’s Andalusian origins to the most typical dishes of Mallorcan gastronomy.

    Quadrat

    Quadrat is one of the best luxury restaurants in Mallorca and offers Mediterranean cuisine, using traditional Mallorcan gastronomy. The produce is entirely local and the establishment is located in the former stables of a palace in the centre of Mallorca. It is currently part of the Hotel Sant Francesc.

    You can find it open for dinner from Thursday to Sunday and you will have the opportunity to try a tasting menu, with the best dishes. Don’t miss Sunday lunchtime, as they offer a menu in which rice dishes are the stars of the show.

    Adrián Quetglas

    Adrián Quetglas is a restaurant in Mallorca that bears the name of its chef and offers market cuisine that mixes tradition with the most avant-garde ideas. According to the chef, this mixture is the perfect combination. There are two tasting menus to choose from on the menu, both of which can be paired with food and wine.
    This restaurant is located in the centre of Palma de Mallorca, the island’s capital, specifically on Passeig de Mallorca. It is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays to offer the best lunches and dinners to its most distinguished customers.     Zaranda

    Zaranda opened its doors in Madrid in 2005, where it won its first Michelin star. But its chef Pérez Arellano didn’t want to stay there; he was looking for the freshest ingredients from the land and the sea. That is what made him decide to move to Mallorca, along with his entire team.

    The decoration of the space is very elegant, sophisticated and has plenty of natural light. On the tasting menu you can try a mix of sophisticated, interesting and delicious elements, such as the black game egg, accompanied by white onion purée and walnut Venere rice.     Dins

    And if we are talking about experiences for the palate, you can’t miss out on  Dins, which is considered to be the historic temple of Mallorcan gastronomy. It is located in the elegant boutique hotel El Llorenç Parc de la Mar and has a well-deserved Michelin star.

    The restaurant offers three completely different tasting menus, including a vegetarian one. The space is decorated with ceramic plates and oil canvases, painted by the chef himself, to give the restaurant a cosy atmosphere. The Mallorcan dishes they serve have a strong Arabic influence that will allow you to enjoy a gastronomic journey with every bite.

    Fusion 19

    The town of Muro, in Mallorca, has a reason to celebrate, because it has recently received its first Michelin star, thanks to Fusion 19. Chef Javier Hoebeeck is a young globetrotter who trained at the Escola d’Hosteleria de la UIB and has opened his restaurant after working with big names such as the restaurants Azurmendi, El Celler de Can Roca and Narisawa.

    Finally, the chef decided to return home and set up his most personal project. His menu offers fusion cuisine where Mediterranean gastronomy combines with Asian and Latin American culture, which will leave diners speechless. The good thing about this cuisine is that each person will be able to find their own nuances in the recipe, which is why it has become more than a restaurant, it has become an authentic experience.

    Andreu Genestra

    Chef Andreu Genestra’s restaurant, which bears the same name as his own, was awarded its first Michelin star after the third year of opening. The cuisine offered by this establishment consists of two tasting menus of eight and 12 dishes each, made with local ingredients and the most Mediterranean flavours.

    This restaurant is located in Hotel Predí de Son Jaumell and you can only make your reservation for dinner from Wednesday to Monday, from 19h to 21:30h. This means that it is a very exclusive restaurant that seeks to offer the best quality to its customers, prioritising their experience over the number of diners.

    Maca de Castro

    Maca de Castro is another Michelin star restaurant in Mallorca. This beautiful restaurant in Puerto de Alcúdia was awarded the first Michelin star given to a female chef on the island. In Maca de Castro you will find traditional Mallorcan and Mediterranean dishes, with a much more innovative and daring proposal.

    You will enjoy a balanced tasting menu, consisting of 3 starters, 5 main courses and 3 desserts. The menu changes regularly, so every time you go, the experience will be different. Some of the dishes included are fried sea anemone, velvety smooth gazpacho, meaty lobster, lemon tart, etc.

    Bens d’Avall

    Bens d’Avall opened its doors a long time ago offering traditional Mallorcan cuisine. The mother and grandmother of Benet Vicens (the current chef) were in charge of the kitchen. Today, chef Vicens cooks alongside his son, a very talented chef, and both have achieved the coveted Michelin star.

    The terrace of this secluded and quiet place offers spectacular views of the mountains and the Mediterranean. The cuisine on offer is healthy, natural and very creative. The chef himself says that his dishes are defined as “signature Balearic cuisine that promotes the values of the island’s culture, its roots, its products and its flavours”.

    Es Fum
