Mr. Rafael Roig, CEO of ROIG Transport & Service Mallorca was on the 21st of May endorsed an award by ASINTRA (Spanish Business Federation of Passenger Transport) in recognition of his business career and contributions to Passenger and Road Transportation.
During the closing of the annual meeting of the Spanish Transport Business Federation (ASINTRA), two awards were presented as part of the ASINTRA Awards 2015. The first one related to the business career recognition and contribution of Road Transportations. The second award related to the defense and representation of Spanish Business and Entrepreneurship. The first award was given to Rafael Roig Grimalt, president of the Balearic Entrepreneurial Federation of Transport (FEBT) and Association of Discretionary Service Travelers, and CEO of ROIG Transport & Service Mallorca, founded 1953.
Rafael Roig said that he wants to share this award to all the members of the FEBT and the Association of Discretionary Service Travelers; board members, partners and employees, since “this award is for all these people, who strive every day to dignify the profession of transport, defending the interests of transport companies and work to improve daily operations of services provided to the traveler”, said Mr. Roig.
The FEBT was founded in 1977 and includes sixteen groups of transport of passengers and goods. It represents more than 2,000 companies, 5,000 employees and 10,000 vehicles, making it one of the most representative organizations in the sector in the Balearic region.
