ROIG BUS is part of the ROIG Transfer & Service business group, based in Cala d’Or. It is one of the leading tourism transport companies on Mallorca, and in addition to its fleet of coaches, also operates a leading car hire firm, ROIG Rent a Car, the undisputed leader in the Santanyí and Felanitx area, ROIG Premium, a firm of luxury limousines, and other companies related to the service sector.
The group also has a travel agency in Cala d’Or: MIJURA, which sells ROIG’s range of excursions, as well as package holidays, and is one of the area’s top selling agencies. The group also includes an insurance company and a petrol station situated in this tourist region in south-east Mallorca.
At this latest edition, and in addition to the Mallorca-based company, awards also went to Bilbobus, Bilbao’s public transport service in the urban transport category; La Regional Vallisoletana won the prize for scheduled transport whilst Yolcar received the award for the best SME-private hire firm.
