For what purpose do we process your personal data?
1. To manage the contractual relationship consisting of vehicle rental with or without a driver.
We process the information provided by data subjects for the contracting and management of our car rental services with or without a driver, to respond to inquiries or requests, and to carry out quality control and satisfaction surveys. The service contract implies the receipt of informational emails related to it. No user profiling is carried out with the personal data you have provided. The data is also used for the invoicing process of the contracted service and to comply with current tax regulations.
2. Traffic fine management
In the event that you receive a fine during the car rental service without a driver, we are legally required to identify the main driver listed in the contract and provide the authorities with their personal data. This allows the authority to send the corresponding fine for the committed infraction directly to the driver.
3. Incident notification, such as accidents during the rental of the vehicle without a driver.
In the event of an accident, it is possible that we may be asked to provide the driver’s personal data in order to carry out the necessary procedures with the vehicle’s insurance.
4. Commercial purposes
If you authorize us, we will occasionally send you commercial notifications that we believe may be of interest to you, allowing you to stay informed about our offers or group news, as well as receive promotions, contests, event invitations, and more. We may send this information via print, electronic, or telephone means.
Please note that you may unsubscribe from these communications at any time. To do so, simply request to “Unsubscribe” from the communications.
How long will we keep your data?
The data processed for the purposes of executing a rental contract and complying with a legal obligation will be retained for as long as the contractual relationship remains in effect and, once it ends, for the legally established retention and liability limitation periods.
The data processed for the purpose of sending commercial communications will be retained until the user withdraws their consent to receive such communications, regardless of whether the contractual relationship has ended.
What is the legal basis for processing your data?
The legal basis for carrying out the data processing specified in the purposes section is as follows:
The legal basis for processing your personal data for purposes 1, 2, and 3 indicated in the purposes section is the execution of a contract with us for the provision and management of the services you have requested.
Likewise, the legal basis for processing your personal data for the purposes indicated in section 4 is the express consent given for the sending of communications, either at the time of collecting personal data through the booking process, by subscribing to the newsletter, or through information requests.
Who will your data be shared with?
Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, except when required by law, such as identifying a customer in the case of a traffic fine, handling accidents, or complying with other requests from authorities or public bodies that require us to disclose your personal data for their own purposes, such as fraud investigations.
In compliance with applicable regulations, we inform you that no international transfers of personal data are planned.
What are your rights when you provide us with your data?
Any person, whether a customer or user, has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not we are processing personal data concerning them.
Data subjects have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
In certain circumstances, data subjects may request the restriction of the processing of their data, in which case we will only retain it for the exercise or defense of legal claims. In certain situations and for reasons related to their particular circumstances, data subjects may object to the processing of their data.
We will cease processing the data unless there are legitimate reasons or it is necessary for the exercise or defense of possible claims.
To exercise the aforementioned rights, the user or customer may submit their request, providing proof of identity, by email to informatica@roig.com or in writing to MJR de Gestión Empresarial S.L.U at Avda. Benvinguts No. 64 Local C, Postal Code: 07200 Cala d’Or, Santanyi, Balearic Islands, Spain.

a) When you make a reservation or register in our system, we require identification and contact details.
