The island has an&nbsp;<strong>interpretive centre<\/strong>&nbsp;with a small exhibition of the park and provides hiking tracks and tours to each one of the lighthouses on the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pirates and smugglers<\/strong>&nbsp;used Sa&nbsp;<strong>Dragonera<\/strong>&nbsp;throughout history, and legends were created around the islands\u2019 lizards (one of the most symbolic animals of Mallorca and whose representation is showed in being one of the best selling souvenirs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To visit the island there are several boat trips starting from&nbsp;<strong>Sant Elm<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Santa Pon\u00e7a<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Paguera<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Puerto de Andratx<\/strong>, all of places with easy access with your rental car.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The island Dragonera is a natural park since 1995 and is located 700 meters from the coast of Sant Elm.
